What do you guys think of it? I have a tumblr and everyone there rides their dick, I have none of their clothes. From what I hear they've got super-inflated prices, and you have to go to one of their two stores to buy, or order online, which is pretty fucking gay. The hats look dope but idk about their other clothes. I'll contemplate before buying something that expensive

Supreme is expensive because of resale. Most of their clothing is super nice. I own a lot of it. haha.

No not because of tyler or odd future. But because i like their clothing.

Some of their shit is just fucking stupid. But, i do for the most part enjoy it.
 
I love how people who think Supreme is all OF hype have no idea how long the brand has been around, or any of the history behind it.

Its expensive, just like all other super limited run streetwear. If you like it and you are willing to pay for it, buy it. If you dont like it, or think its too expensive dont buy it. The end. No need to have multi page discussions on here over how stupid you think someone else is for spending a lot of money on a tee shirt.
 
dude supreme isn't hyped, their tshirts have super high end cotton so they last 100 years easy and a good fit to make you look buff without having to workout and they make limited run.

Supreme isn't that expensive.. Resale prices are though. Obviously if you're looking to buy Supreme on HB and eBay, prepare to get raped by prices...

Oh lawd.

I remember going to a lecture and my prof saying that supreme had one of the best brands in the game because they dont even make clothing, they make labels. They find sweet patterns and then throw they're label on them.

This is a long time ago, I dont know how they run show these days

But I know that Tyler didn't create the brand, and no, you're right, I don't know a lot about the history behind it. I was just wondering if you guys thought their shit was overpriced. But also I didn't know about the high-end quality so I guess I can understand the prices now
 
Pretty sure everything sold by supreme in recent history is made in china, same as most of the tees and hoodies you get at walmart for 1/10th the price. I buy plenty of cheap clothes, and they're all fine quality. Unless supreme stuff can stop bullets I don't see how you can justify the price on the basis of quality. If people want to buy it because it's cool, that's fine, but let's be honest about it.

Pretty sure they're allowed to put a "made in the USA" tag on it because that's where they're printed, but they don't release where they're suppliers are and word on the net seems to be that it's probably china.

Plus, even if it's USA, you can buy made in the USA clothes for a helluva lot less.
 
it's pretty much common knowledge that anyone buying Supreme is paying 95% of the cost for the branding/exclusiveness and 5% for the actual cost of the garment.. i fully admit that.

this thread is 90% bullshit though. whoever said that walmart has the same quality is fucking retarded. also, to everyone who says that supreme is rediculously expensive has no idea what they are talking about. it's kinda like how most everyone complains about how jiberish hoodies cost 80 dollars. honestly it's not that bad, most people just can't afford that, especially assuming almost everyone on here is a teenager. if you look at the clothing world in general, you'll see that hoodies range from 30 dollars to 600, it's all in perspective.
 
I don't want to insult anyone, but I feel like the end users of Supreme are fucking idiots. As in, if you bought it firsthand at only semi-redic prices and didn't triple your money reselling it to impressionable young wannabes you're an idiot, as well as if you bought it secondhand for a solid raping, you're a fucking idiot as well.

I know that came across as totally dick and I apologize for that, but that's how I honestly feel about the whole Supreme online exclusivity dynamic bullshit.
 
no, you're somewhat correct. this last drop i spent like $250 from Supreme's online store. what did i end up with? a tee, pair of shoes and a snapback. the shoes i purchased are already selling for twice retail on ebay. they look like shit to me, but i knew i would be able to make a solid profit off them if i wanted since they sold out in less than 5 minutes in every damn size. same with the t-shirt, they're selling for about $50 over retail on ebay. and if i am dedicated enough to keep the tags on them for a 1 year+ i can almost guarantee they'll be "worth" even more than that provided the market doesn't crash like Jiberish did. the only thing i'll keep to wear myself is the hat...which was only $40.

it's like selling drugs, but not illegal. ha
 
because it's more fun to sell and trade tangible items over shares of a company.

plus don't you dare try to tell me that the stock market is easier to understand than selling things on Strickly Supreme, Hypebeast and Ebay. haha
