Supports for a fatty tube

Got 2 fatty tubes but can't find a solid way to support them. I need to raise them by about 5 inches and don't know the best way to do it. If you can make me a suggestion on a way to build supports that would be great

Thanks.

what i did for mine was cut it in half lengthwise (this way you double your rail length too) and screwed it through the sides onto a 2x6. depending on the diameter of your tube you'll have to get different sized wood but I'm sure you can jerry rig something up easily.

Taffers idea works really well i have one set up as well but another way is to make stands in the shape of a "U" that just hold the pipe, you can see the pipes in one of my videos but the "U" is a super solid method

Finished it today and ended up doing a really Crappy "U" shape stand. Had to use a handsaw because we had nothing else. It's shit but it works. Thanks guys.

Out of curiosity what did you cut it in half with?

Anything weird/bad happen that you could give advice on not doing?

as long as you have half a brain you can figure out how to cut it up. circular saw wasn't the first choice when it came to cutting round pvc, but i use what i got. as long as you're careful, patient and make sure you measure out and know where you're supposed to be cutting, you'll be good.

You could get a little jigsaw for $20 at home depot.

Fathers day is coming up. Never hurts to look for tools. A little miter saw maybe as cheap as $50 could save you a ton of hassle building things in the future. Can get those weird angles and make quick cuts. IF you have to cut a bunch of 2x4s you can just knock them out in a few seconds each.

I understand not wanting to spend or not really having much $ but some decent power tools go a long way and you can get a lot for cheap these days.

If you're planning on building more stuff not a bad idea.
