Supporting Orage?

Who here supports Orage?

I think its killer that they have totally embrased newschool ect, and that they are totally shifting all marketing towards us. Plus the clothes are sick. Expensive but sick!

Definately support Orage. They support skiing and the East Coast very well. They have supported me this season very well, especially being a smaller upstart film company. They make good quality clothes, and most of all their all really chill people up there. and thats not just cause they are one of my sponsors

HAHA! orage is such a funny name for a co. my friend was telling me what kind of coat he got... and he said orage. i had never heard of it before... so i was like, 'cool but what kind' and he was like... 'orage' and i was like... 'i know but what company' and he was like.. 'ORAGE' (this went on for a while.. but finally..) i was like... 'I KNOW THE COAT'S ORANGE... BUT WHAT KIND IS IT???' HAHAHA! and he said... 'no silly... orage is the company not the color!!!' then i said... what COLOR is it?' and he said... 'red'

isnt that a funny story? (i thought it was)

and SURE i support orage!

I support Orage for what they do on the east coast (Orage is french, it means Storm)

Orage does do a lot for our market and I think it's great. In Canada at least, they have a pretty big grassroots program, they put on lots of events (compared to other companies) and sponsor a fair amount of riders which is really good.

The Masters is awesome too, sort of stepping away from the generic big air or halfpipe events and doing something unique. It's definitely helping skiing to sort of carve out it's own spot in alternative sports.

And the clothes are sweet too ;)

I think Oakley is our Burton. With the obvious difference that they also sponsor snowboarding. But Orage feels like a 686 type company for skiers. They support the sport, build it, and progress it. We need more, but the growth in the past year of companies spending on skiing is great.

Orage did own Siver to an extent, but now SIver might be going with billabong. That meens we wont carry it in our shop, there ases as far as sales relations go.

Orage has always been 100% supportive of our endeavours. They are all about quality, styley, comfortable, clothes and progressing the industry. Props to dem.

Yeah orage is the way to go definitely....... some sick as shit right there, and I agree with the kid who said that 686 was compared to orage in skiing of course.....

orage is french for 'not a french company'.... wait.. what... anyway I do support, best jacket EVER.

Orage is the sweetest company ever. I totally support them. Everyone should buy there clothing.

P.S. Siver is making outerwear next year.

To my knowledge Orage does not own Siver, they are simply two companies owned by the same parent company (Coalision).

^very true sir. simply because snowboard clothing companys make great gear and tend to have lower prices due to more competition in the larger snowboarding industry.

orage rocks. and cko is correct. coalision is orage, siver, and i think one other company.

Orage is more of a skiing skiing company, where as Siver is more of a newschool skiing company. If they sold out to Billabong I would be stoked, cuz then they would sell it in my town.

im and anti-whore trend-whore pro-trend anti-prowhore

true mystic.... maybe oneday skiing outerware will be as cheap, highly doubt it, but that would be a nice thing to think about

it would be nice if clothing was cheaper, but the market just is smaller. Look at snowboards, there are literally at least 100 board brands. Us skiers have Line, Salomon, Armada, 4frnt, k2, Dynastar, Head, Fischer, and a handfull of others

until the market gets oversaturated with companies, were always gonna pay a premium price

its starting to grow i mean skiing jsut got armada and 4frnt soo more are sure to come next year.

Sick guys.. and girls!

I am so stoked people notice how much Orage is putting back in the sport. Orage is helping us build a good base for our sport and I am proud to be part of it.

Thanks for all the support and the good comments!

i have no problem with snowboarders wearing orage jackets cause if they think its a sick jacket then its a sick jacket. the problem is that if you were to go up to half of those snowboarders and ask them what they think of freeskiing they would probably totally diss it up.

keep up the good work, orage/iannick
