Superunknown VII Finalist

edits need to start being more like this except with skiing:

also laker is dope, imagine if he didnt ski at perfect north and could hit legit stuff with level1, he would blow up.

I think FELIX USTERUD would be a great winner. He is just 15, and already so talented, just think about what he could do, when he grows with Level1. Go Felix!

Personally, I would much rather watch someone slaying a small park with styled 5 blunts like Spencer Millbocker than watch someone huck unstylish dubs.

this. that thing is a monster. definitly the most difficult park rail to clean that ive ever come across. that laker could sw up, pretzel 6 out blows my mind

my thoughts exactly. not that the other riders aren't dedicated, but i've never met anyone who is more dedicated than karl is to skiing. REALLY hope he wins!

Hey Level 1,

heres an idea,

make a video with all of these guys and it would be groundbreaking. Im not joking, make it happen.

Signed,

Dever

i'm under the impression a lot of kids think level 1 is looking for the "thug" steez... I think they got it all wrong, I think level 1 is looking for style in general which does not meen you have to wear 3 layers of tall tee's. But I see no reason to hate on the "thug" steez because style is all about how you wanna express yourself as a skier. For a good while a lot of skiers have been in to the baggy style, but i'm sure it will change in the future...

Totally agree... but, i wouldn't mind the idea of having specialized film companies either. I get kinda upset when i have to watch pow skiing from a company that killllllls urban. Granted this will never happen cause companies want variety and i'm just different. But yeah i feel you on the monotonous thing.

I think Karl Fost should win hands down!...kid slays urban..slays park..and took a little backcountry trip with him yesterday and the kid STOMP bc shit....can't go wrong with this kid

wow, i really liked lars' style and his variation! i think i saw him in keystone in january and as i remember he was killing it! his butter 720 was rad. but i think alex had the best edit

Lakers tricks are so styleish and just imagine this kid out on a huge jump. Hes throwing all of thosse on that small ramp. Also his rail skills are insane, like i said before that switchup on that s rail then pretzel 6 out.

not to say he isn't good...he fucking slays..that's for sure...just would like to see something other than park for once

In my eyes, what you need to win in super unknown hands down

-sick style

-50% sick urban, pretzel on urban rails

-Spinning both ways, all tricks

-And at least prove you can do one type of double

-Having this combination, will get you to the top 2

t walls video, while not containing doubles contained

-style

-perfect landings

-270 pretzel hand rail

-spin both ways.

-50% urban+

-Some sick park shots.

your little rubric was filled by a majority of the finalists, and probably one or two of the honorable mentions. that having been said, there should not be a rubric at all. kids should be writing textbooks in this contest, not reading them and taking exams.
and stop comparing everyone to wallischs entry. it was cool because he didnt copy whoever was before him (mike clarke?).
i think milbocker put together a pretty cool entry, especially considering where hes from. laker, tveit and karl foasdfasdt as well.

well....if mt. snow open is any indicator of growing east oast talent then we can expect big things for SU for years to come. 18 finalists....most with dub flips.....holy crap

That Clayton kid kills it. Hands down he should win..Ive seen him out a couple times this season and his superunknown is dope.that Marshall kid looks like an ignorant prick.
