what did NS think of this movie?

personally, i hated it. the skiing was amazing... when there was actual skiing. the cinematography was cool and the songs actually had a pretty interesting affect on how the shots were perceived. but the fact that half of the move wasn't skiing and actually had nothing to do with skiing straight up pissed me off. if i wanted to watch a shitty gambling film with bad acting and story, i would have just watched The Runner.

tldr: i hated it because while the skiing was amazing, the whole gambling robbery storyline was useless and didnt get me stoked on niether skiing nor getting beat up by gangsters at all.

Interesting. I haven't been able to pull the trigger on that one on iTunes with the same fear. Pettit and permin are my favorite skiers but didnt know about the storyline acting stuff

pettits part was actually unreal, some of the shots just blew my mind its almost worth the buy just to watch pettit. then again ALMOST worth the buy

i feel like nobody talks about/saw this movie. looks like a cool lineup of skiers (pettit, TYW, abma), but the concept looked weird. i cant speak on it without watching it though.

They're trying to create a new, more cinematic style in ski filmmaking. This one had more skiing then The Recruitment so it looks like they're heading in the right direction.

You don't have to but it anymore

I liked the recruitment more, but both were dope. I think that the non skiing storyline part of the movies is better suited for a street/urban movie.
