Superman vs Batman, holy shitballs!

So i just heard that in Man of Steel 2 (aka Destroying Buildings 2), Its gonna go down. They are gonna brawl and fight and fuck each other up. Gonna be epic. Anyone else excited for this?
 
No, for real. This announcement got introduced by a quote from the movie, and it was like: "Clark, everytime you are alone, think about my grip around your neck and how i beat you" - Batman. So batman is gonna kick his ass at least once, thats a fact.
 
Batman, like most superheroes, is a man hiding his identity to become a superhero. However, in his case, he doesn't even have any fucking powers.

Superman is a superhero who hides his identity to fit in with the rest of the world. His costume is a suit and tie, while Batman's costume is...well, the fucking bat suit .

Superman could kill Batman in the blink of an eye if he wanted to. Unless Batman came up with some wacky gadgets with Kryptonite in them, he would have literally no chance.
 
Man of steel was ok while the batman movies were some of the best superhero movies ever. I will be MAD if they mess up the batman franchise with this sequel!!
 
if the fight was measured in pure physical strength, sure. however, batsy always wins because superman's WAAAAY too nice to actually kick the shit out of him. Batman's not afraid to play dirty, and that's why he always wins (temporarily at least) in a fight between the two of them.
 
Batman could survive, he could find some way to turn invisible, and then he would move to venezuela, change his name, shave his head, and grow a beard. That is the only way he could escape.
 
So I just got back from watcing batman vs superman. not going to post spoilers, but you need to see it. Not the best superhero movie, but it's fun. I'd say a lil better than age of ultron and Ben Afflec kills batman so hard. Any doubts about his peformance will be squashed
 
in the comics batman wins. uses kryptonite gauntlets and kicks some ass. dunno about the movie though.
 
Just got out of it. There were some things that were awesome (opening Superman sequence was ridiculous. Affleck killed it as Batman) and some parts were disjointed and unnecessary.

The whole thing looked incredible. Not going to be close to the best movie out this year and far from the best comic book movie, but still definitely recommend checking it out.

In one of the comics I read as a kid batman faked his own death and disappeared to end the fight because he was like this shits retarded. Was dope
 
I didn't like it.

To begin with, I'm biased because I don't like Ben Affleck in the first place so he alone ruined his own movie that he stared in.

Also, going from the clean cut precision of Christopher Nolan's films to this? Affleck pretty much was like, "How do I make DC more like Marvel?"

I thought it was very slow paced. Also, there was so much random stuff. Granted a lot was hinting at other characters in the DC universe. But like the weightlifting part was unneeded, at least show batman making his tank suit instead of lifting weights that we all know were fake.

Finally, his dreams were annoying.

This wasn't Affleck's movie. He was just an actor, not a writer or director.

Agreed about the dream stuff though...

Honestly, the film fucking sucked. Disjointed plot line and a terrible screenplay. The actors/actresses were fine except for Lex and again, the writing was so bad that you're sitting back saying to yourself, This is stupid.

A rotten cake. Had the flair and the action but was still rotten.

But Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms.
 
I liked it and it made sense to me but you could tell that this thing was rushed and pushed together at the last minute.

Honestly I could picture a WB exec yelling "Marvel is making so much money...we need to catch up NOWWWWWW!!!! All the superheroes NOWWWW! Fuck storylines...get it done ASAP!!!".

Instead of the subtle long game that Marvel played by slowly dropping hints at stories and characters....DC just shoved it all right in our faces.

It's cool that they might do the "Injustice" story line in the future, it's cool that they dropped some stuff about Darkseid, but that is all stuff that should of taken time to drop.

I haven't seen it and I don't even want to see it for this reason. The dark knight trilogy was not only the best superhero trilogy ever made, but they were some of my favorite movies.

I probably won't even watch this because it will just ruin batman for me. I've heard this one is too much like marvel and I haven't seen a good marvel movie since like the first iron man or maybe spider man.
 
I thought it was decent. Superman and batman didn't really have personalities, especially batman. It's like he had a stick up his butt.

I really liked the intro where they connected to two. I didn't like the small jeep advertisement tho. I also thought the turning point in the battle was very poor and I laughed when Martha was all it took. Overall I'd give it a 6.5-7/10
