Sooooo I left Mammoth around 10 o'clock this morning, and got to Sarah's house around 12:30.

So i covered 915 miles by myself in a little less than 15 hours. I took a break to get my oil changed, 2 breaks for food, and three gas stops.

Needless to say, I'm feelin pretty haggard

Anyone else busted out a crazy long drive like meee?

 
That's impressive. The furthest I've gone is when I was driving from New York to Florida. I only made it to South Carolina till I had to stop, besides stopping for gas. Took me like 13 hours I think.

Last week a guy in a honda got nailed for 142 on a highway and is facing jail time.

yeah that guy was doing 142 just down here in portland, it was all over the news here and he even had a suspended license

i've done pheonix AZ to Boise ID in one day and could have made it all the way to seattle but decided to get some rest in idaho. also done seattle to LA in one day, and did seattle to AZ in one day but i didn't drive

yeah i thought 12.5 hours to SLC was really good considering it was my dad and i, so that meant no more than 5 over the speed limit. but the speed limit does go up to 75 out in ID

me and my dad did Parker, Arizona (southern arizona on the colorado river) to Seattle in ONE go.

We went through LA, then behind the Sierras by June and Mammoth, then crossed over to I-5 in northern california, then went up through Oregon.

It was a long ass drive, we were bringing the Buggy home.

Seattle to Great Falls in 11 hours, which is fucking crazy considering the 4 mountian passes you have to go through, with ice in 2 of them.

oh yea^^ thats not too hard as long as you get going at a good pace. we made it from the mt. hood meadows parking lot to shoreline (near Edmonds) in exactly 4 hours, which included stopiing for gas....big difference than getting there on a friday nite wich took 7 hours to get into welches

My worst was leaving the X-Games in Aspen in 2001 to get back to college in Wisconsin for the first class of second semester. But, I had to wrest with weather and a "detour" up through Minneapolis to get my car and drop off the rental. 21 hourse total. Horrible experience. I did make it two hours before class started though:)

 
LA to Mt hood in 17 hours i had to sleep in this rest stop tho for about an hour and half tho.. for some dumb reason i left at 6 pm

I think it was 16 hours(split 3 ways) but I drove from seatac to mamaoth through the night. Got there in just enough time to change and eat. It was right after there big storm back in late janurary.

i got a speeding ticket for 45 in a 30 a couple months ago. my nieghbor is bill gateses speeding ticket lawyer. i had him represent me in fighting the ticket. we went to court and my lawyer found that the calibration papers for the radar gun were not properly dated, and had them thrown out of the case. i now pay a few hundred in lawyer fees instead of a few grand over the next few years in insurance fees plus over 100 for the ticket.

i also purchased a radar detector. the Escort Passport 8500. its pretty sick. already saved me a few tickets. i was smoking a blunt in my honda going a hundred by my cabin and it detected a radar. i slammed on my brakes and got to the speed limit just as a cop that was radaring came into view.
