The way to dominate melee is much more complicated than the way to dominate 64. You need to learn useless and pointless techniques to dominate in melee whereas in 64 you just need to know what youre doing and have fast reactions. Melee is a joke dude, youre a tool for defending it. Everybody is basically grounded in melee, whereas in 64 there is a whole other dimension of air-play that there isnt in melee. So much crazier shit can happen in 64 its no contest between the 2 as long as your not fucking born in the 90s and started gaming with fucking shite cube and playing sorry ass ssb melee. If you were good at both games, you would understand that 64 is worlds more dynamic and much crazier shit can happen in 64. Its really no contest unless youre an absolute fucking noib who grew up on fucking cube
 
considering i started out playing 64 and it has "useless" and "pointless" techniques as well, your argument is invalid. watch someone play jiggs or falcon on melee. the air game is ridiculous. falcon's combos are also mindfuckingly insane while primarily being based on reads. and 64 is not about reaction. it's about spacing and reads. you have no idea what you're talking about.
