so my old mac exploded, decided to upgrade to mbp, literally 4 days ago i bought it, i had heard rumours about a new one coming out, but didnt think itd be this soon. super gay. just my luck.
oh well, could be alott worse i suppose, at least i get a new comp, and i don't really like the new trackpad that much
 
Unfortunately that is your own fault. It's been known for about a week that Apple was having a press party related to their notebooks and rumors have pegged today as the day for much longer. It sucks.
 
I waited till today to get a macbook, or buy an old gen pro off craigslist for the price of a new macbook. whatever I do at this point I get a great deal, or a new gen laptop.
 
haha dude you have no idea, i was about to buy a 17' mbp back in august, then somehow i found my way to macrumors.com and appleinsider.com and found out that there MIGHT be an update for the laptops in sept, so i waited only to find out that they were going to be in october. long story short ive been borrowing my younger sister's computer for school for the past 2 months, its been terrible.
 
ya my macbooks been on a steady decline for a shit long time, ive been using my mom's for hella long now. i actually heard about this a while ago, but again, there was no fixed date really, i read in one place that it was expected for them to come out around december, and i didn't want to wait that long. in hindsight, i really don't care that much, i think i might even like the old ones better, i don't know if i could stand to have those new trackpads without the click button, also is the keyboard smaller on these ones? cause it kinda looks like it. other than cosmetics its the same shit anyways so w.e.
 
i think the keyboard is the same size as the air's keyboard, its like the new style buttons that are sort of spaced. imo the keyboards look way better and I like using the new style buttons rather than the old ones on the old mbps
 
keyboard is the same size, you know how the keys on your mac slope down on the sides, imagine it going straight down, still the same distance apart, but now there is a way to get shit out if you drop it in between keys.

yeah im kind of mad too, I probably could have waited it out with my old g4 powerbook and gotten the new macbook pro, but im impatient, and hey its apple you need to give them at least a year to figure out all the bugs...oh yeah and im also really pissed a bunch of pixels burnt out on my new ipod touch that came with my mac book, now i gotta figure out where an apple store is and make them give me a new ipod
