SUNY OSWEGO

was going to put in regionals but itll deff get more hits here, if any of you guys go to oswego where do you ski? im looking at it but the closest ski hill is like back home or an hour and 45 over and down... is there places im not thinking of or do you just have to deal with it?

thanks

the drive is more like an hour and 15min. I Spent two years there, pretty neat to have a campus right on the lake though.

kind of surprised. its takes roughly the same time to drive down all the way from watertown. but i suppose thats more of a direct route strait down 81...

Be sure to check out Harborfest in the summer if you don't already know about it. There isn't much in the area for good skiing but you could always head east on the weekends for some real mountains and stick to lab. tog. and song(lol) when you need a quick fix.

yaa, i already ski at lab, but was hoping id be able to go someplace diff ya know? anyone who went there tell me about the campus, i wasnt feeling it but my gf likes it haha and were going to alfred saturday and theres alot more skiing around there. but whats the campus life like? obv theres mad parties, but like what else?

Looking into oswego and alfred? You must like to party. I went to alfred myself and loved every minute of it but was to busy partying to do as much skiing as i would have liked to. Alfred is very close to swain and they have a nice park for such a small mountain. Not a lot to do but party down there. The place is a ghost town on the weekends and can get boring. Oswego is a much higher quality school and has better partys but alfred has better skiing. Alfreds campus is on a hillside and has over 20 good urban rails i can think of.

all of those SUNY smaller schools (oswego, plattsburgh, oneonta, etc) all suck. Seriously if your looking into the suny system just try for binghamton, geneseo, buffalo or albany. Dont pikc a school on skiing

I go to Geneseo and it's one of the small suny schools but yea don't pick your college for skiing. Bristol and swain aren't too far from here tho

education wise, oswego blows.... unless you are in their accounting program. Party wise, Oswego is the funnest campus I've been to. Girls are so easy, everyone does a ton of drugs. So many bars. So many parties. Harborfest is insane. Did I mention so much easy pussy? On that note and now that I am a little older, I would strongly suggest looking at a different school if you want good career opportunities upon graduation. Like the kid above said, Suny Geneseo is a solid school.
