umm i saw his video and he's a good jibber but if that was him at the bottom of er 7 than he can't ski worth shit. I think i remember some guy trying to turn not doing very well hucking of the side of this little cliff then dissapearing i guess he fell at the bottom to and sims straighlines at the bottom of er 7 before kiddies corner are like max 40 degrees. through boulders and shit nothing too gnar there pussy. my mom skis that shit

the waterfall strait line you are talking about is about 50 feet long and isn't steep or dangerous and there is no chute. i have seen 7 year old kids and younger ski that, there is nothing special about it. i am surprised you think it's hard core.

Not the run, waterfall at sunshine on wawa. There is a straightline in the dive that has ice on it at the top so i called it the waterfall straighline. I never said it was hardcore i just said thats something i did at sunshine when i was there. This thread is called "Sunshine" dumb shit.

racing is rather hagg tho, and if your hardcore into racing why are they rockin park skis, cause they want to be like a park skier, u dont see us riding race skis, quit bashing us for skiing park when all the racers wish they could do what we do.

 
Hey man dont start bashing racing. They ride park skis because you cant take off swtich or do rails on race skis. Im not getting into this but keep it fair. Andy (kid with the armadas) is an amazing skier so he shouldnt be bashed for having them.

I do want my nickname to be "out of control." I think that is a pretty rad nickname. I'd hate to think what I'd ski like if I was called in control. Probably, somewhat like you fellas. I also didnt live in Golden for a year, and havent been skiing for 18 yrs, with 8 or so, on twintips. I probably was the first person in this province on twintips. Check out State of Mind. See those things Vinnie D has? I sported those bad boys myself. Anywho, I'd gladly come and watch you hardcore individuals straightline anything and everything, because, well, you pretty much are the shit. Clearly.

I honestly don't see why you guys try. I don't really know how any of you ski for sure, and nor do I think any of you are shitty at it. I do, however, know that most of the kids you are making fun of also know how to ski. Quit using the "park rat" term as a way to vent your jealous frustrations. If you were truly the "big mountain" skiers that you say you are, then it shouldnt bother you whats going on in the parks. If its exposure and sponsorship that you want, it would probably be best to associate with these other guys in a positive way, otherwise you have a long hard road ahead of you. If you don't care about that stuff, then dont act like you do and pretend it means nothing. Yeah skiing is gettin bigger now, but I see no reason to have different factions among the same basic people- Albertans.

Hmmm, I guess my goal of anonymity is now gone. I'm curious, how exactly did you know, or am I really already that old?

You dont realise that all of us "park rats" ski about 3 times more then you do, and even if we spend 50 of more % of the time in the park we STILL get more time spiing pow and big mountain than you do. and still are good skiers.

So maybe just offer to ski with one of us for a day or too nest time we say where we are and then ull see how "bad" we are.

DONT think that on a pow day we'd rather hit the park, because i speak for everyone here when i say i'd rather ski pow on a pow day than hit the park.

And about us skiing park lots? whats the big deal, you can specialize in big mountain, park or racing if you want. You just do it for Ummm hmm fun?

I renember a time when this forum was cool, and no one were fucktards to eachother. Then it got super gay, because some people decided that Skiing park wasn't as cool anymore, and if one person was slightly better at park or at big mountain than the other, then they are all the sudden "bad guys" and that that they suck everywhere else.... Then it got cool again, and I was happy, because that was when you could meet people that live in Alberta, and talk about all the rad times you had last weekend or about how good COP is and shit like that.

That was short lived however, and now this forum pisses me off again. People just making fake names to come on and be funny once and then never again, instead use their names to be the hot and stinky, and piss EVERYONE off. I can't stand coming to this forum and seeing a new topic that say's something that interests me. But when I click on the thread, and see all the bullshit that is written in it, I don't know what to think.

I know by me saying this will not change anything because Assholes never change, but For FUCKSAKES, its not funny and it never was. Nor was it cool, and just because some people ride park, pipe, big mountain, moguls or the "pole" who gives a flying Fuck anyway? I know this has already been said, but we are just skiing because we want to and for no other reason. Im not calling anyone out, because we pretty much are all acting like four year olds, I however just find it wierd that a post about Sunshine can turn into a war in the Calgary Forum.

And Im not writing this to be classy or inspirational, so no hate will put me down. Its pretty much the standard on this forum now anyway.
