anyone been there lately? ive got a huge grad ski trip comming up this valentines day weekend, whats the park/pipe stituation?

I was there early january. It's a fun hill. Super family oriented, and lots of racers, which means that all the pow stashes are untouched. We got fresh lines all weekend. As for the park, it wasn't so good, and their pipe wasn't cut, but they were building it, so there's hope. They have a decent website, so check that.

Stay away from Nancy Greene though. She bitched us out for going too fast, which we just couldn't take seriously, obviously. But it capped off a great weekend. You'll have fun there for sure. One warning: Eating out there is worse than at whistler. It's expensive as fuck and there's no real alternative, except Kamloops I guess, but only if you have a car. Even their in village grocery store is ridiculous. Good booze selection though.

be careful of rocks, they have barely 100 cm. they do not get much pow but it usually last a while. (10 cm is a big dump for them). park has some really nice jumps that shoot you high, check out the step down. weak ass rails but i heard they were getting some more for their comp. ski with the park ranger, hes pretty wicked. no pipe when i was there.

been there, flat, and uninteresting, you could make it interesting if you have fun people to be with. But other then that it is a totally domestic mountain and doesnt get a lot of snow.
