Hey guys! So I'm going to sunday river resort next year and was wondering is it any good? And does anyone ski there? Am I gonna be dissapointed when I get there?
 
get your meatstick in that meatshield laddy, as soon as ya can, then we can go to tha pub and drink a few brews.
 
i usually go to sundayriver for one week every year and i always have a sick time but thats just me and my friends being idiots. but still i love skiing there but its probably because im from ontario
 
before i moved to colorado sunday river was my home mountain. the jib parkis usually good once the season gets going. the jumps usually suck and are icey.
 
its got a couple parks jib park on south ridge, rocking chair(big park) on barker, and then starlight over on vhite cap
 
hhahahah what? but sunday river early season is THE PLACE!!! Always going off with east coasts talent. Its pretty much there and Mt. Snow for october park scene. Then mid season Loon surpasses it and it gets less crowded but still maintains a nice rail garden and 1 or 2 decent jumps on a good day. Fun MTN. Ill see you up there on the 15th
 
sunday river is kinda Beast for the east but pretty legit sick park usually about 3 of them on average when its mids season, some descent tree skiing after a dump if you know where to go and dont mind splittin cunt hairs...all an all, its the place i ski and like, and im a douche who talks about all the places ive been on the lift
 
So do you think its ok for somebody of medium-low skill? :L oh and my snowboarder mate who sucks lol! cheers for all the info

nice mountain for the east for sure. But you need to wear all bright orange clothing or us mainers will mistake you as a moose and shoot your ass. And just go to mt. abram. Its right down the road and is like 4 times more legit as far as the park seen goes.
 
I have a seasons pass here, so its not that bad. as long as your not a toolbag the people in the park are pretty cool to you. But dont come until the middle of january.
 
ya gotta find a loocal to show you around. Its pretty sick once you know the mountain a little. All the unmarked trails are sick
 
Its pretty sick went there last year and was pissed cuz it rained all day and the hill was icy as fuck but the park wasnt to bad
 
yea im thinking of that one. and the coping is flat im used to round pipes.... it probably doesn't even make a difference anyways
 
my lake house (now year round) is like 20 minutes from there so i might go there once in a while

and yea i heard rockign chair was supposed ot be sick this year... i didnt really like it this year.... its to short of a park. my local pats peak i get 4-5 jumps and 4-5 jibs every run
 
haha i mean if u call a mound a jump..... we have like 6 ok rails because the drunk snowcat drivers ran them all over. I ski sunday river most of the time but abrams can get epic on a pow day because there is always no one there. There is pow for days. And the rules of the MT. are that you can ski anywhere you want and are aloud to.
 
they have 1 black diamond? and pow day, imma hit up sr anyday. had the funnest day of my life at sr when me and my nikkas ducked a rope and shreded 3 feet of foot orgasms
