Sunday River regulars?

Heading there for the first time on Thursday til Sunday. I've been skiing a lot of places, but actually haven't been to Sunday River yet, and I'm real psyched.

Any recommendations in terms of some fun glades? Looking to check out the whole mountain over while we're there but could use recommendations in terms of what lifts to stick to for the most part in terms of challenging terrain and fast groomers. How about spots to check out at night for some partying? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

If there's any hidden gems you'd rather not share with the whole crowd, feel free to shoot me a message.

Go off the back side and hitch a ride from the airport. Also recommend white cap for trees. You should also get on the summer site and look up mountain bike trails. Ski the river every may in the mud now. Worked there summer and winter for 3 years in a row two years ago.

I've been skiing there for quite some time now.

If you want to clock a lot of vertical in little time ski Jordan Lift and traverse over to Oz. There are also some pretty fun drops underneath the Oz lift.

When on the Jordan-Oz traverse, there is a pitch that sweeps left right at the beginning. after making the turn, immediately look down to your left and you'll see Dorthy's. I would not ski this unless there is a lot of snow, as it is a very technical glade.

Also at the top of Locke lift you can hike up to the radio tower and drop into a pretty mellow glade. Not a lot of people make the hike so you can except less tracks.

Don't ski the Spruce Cliffs.

Thanks guys. Keep em comin if you got em!

Why not Spruce Cliffs? Sketch?

Also, how about nightlife? Any fun spots?

the first half of dorothys is absolutely fucked right now, 75% of the trees are down and it isn't very fun.

As for other stuff just look around and follow tracks. some fun stuff off of barker that gets overlooked, whitecap has been fun recently

Funky red barn and the Matterhorn for after skiing. Oz was always my favorite. Spruce cliffs were sketch as can be. They are good for a few skiers per storm, and the bottom is flat. It can hurt. Enjoy
