Sunday River Is Open

Today's Sunday River's opening day of the season, is anyone else going/ wicked stoked that the season has started?

so is mt snow and killington. ughhhhh i want to ski, central massachusetts is expecting 6 to 12 inches tonight so there will be some form of skiing tomorrow

SR loves trying to beat Killington every year, even though we pretty much succeed every time.

Don't know about the other mountains, but SR has a small park set up today as well.

Chairs started running at 9:30 at SR. Friends are rippin the mountain right now.

No apparently what happened (and sorry for the confusion) is that there was unofficial lift access starting at 8 but it was officially open at 10:01. The reason why it was 10:01 is because they wanted to give it to Vermont this year because they got raped by Irene.
