Sundance Resort

Hey just wanted to get some of ur guys' thoughts on Sundance. The other threads on it didn't have much to offer, but I was just wondering if u thought it would be worth it to drop $259 for a college mid-week pass for the days i dont want to drive all the way through SLC to the cottonwoods.
 
All the terrain at sundance sucks except for bishops bowl and pipeline but even those don't compare to what any of the other resorts have to offer
 
The lifts are unbearably slow.

The majority of people there are snowboarders who slip down the whole mountain.

Gapers.

Terrain is alright in the back, but not a lot of elevation.

Their "park" if you are into that, is not even worth glancing at.

BUT. I've had some good pow days there. i don't know if it's worth the money though.
 
Dope place to ski on a pow day. Every once in a while storms hit sundance harder than the cottonwoods and it's incredible. No powder panic. Free refills all day! Definitely not as steep or rocky as anywhere else but soooo awesome. Tons of hits, night skiing a few nights a week, not a bad deal if you live in Utah county. Tons more ski time
 
Do you get up there often/know a group who does? If i grab any kind of pass it would be ideal to at least have some people to roll with.
 
I'm up there quite a bit, but there is definitely a bunch of people to ride with! Feel free to tag along with us if you want
 
tru, yea ill have to see what my money situation is closer towards october n such, before the passes go up in price. Thanks for the feedback though
