So I read today that the new sun valley SPT terrain park is opening this weekend @ Dollar Mt!. Has anyone seen progress? I heard 4 jumps and 13 rails. I am stoked its at dollar! That means $40 lift tickets!!
 
hopfully ill try and go sat. sunvalley kids can you confirm. the original park was set up pretty damn legit. so im sure dollars will be the same
 
I skied sun valley this past saturday and the small park they had setup at river run was nice. It was only a down box, down bar, pyramid box, flat box and a down flat down box thing but the park crew was there all day making sure the lips and everything was legit throughout the whole day. The park at dollar should be good.
 
VERified. i just saw it on the news. 4 jumps and 13 rails on dollar this weekend, plus the super pipe is open on baldy. damn thats early for a pipe. they are steppin up theyre game.

and to the above yeah i agree. i was there thanksgiving and it was like there was constantly someone in the park making sure everything was looking good. everything was set up super smooth. sv is the place to be this year fosh
 
the park is on dollar tho, which is pretty cheap. like 30 bucks still i think through the rest of dec.

minus the pipe which is on baldy still. but will eventually be moved to dollar
 
season wise tho

if a dollar pass was 200 bucks a season

idk how much it is or if it exists

it might be worth it to get like a brundge pass for good snow and dollar for park

but lift tickets are a bitch
 
yea i heard they want to become a top park mtn within the next few years. completely possible even with their lack of space considering they have more money than god

Haven't gotten mine yet, but I will the first day I head up there this season. To get the college discount you gotta bring your class schedule to prove your a full time student....I'm stoked to ride bogus, brundage and the occasional sun valley because I have some family there and I'm sure I can find some discount tickets....not to mention I'll get my Tahoe fix in the coming weeks....just stoked that winter is here!!! no bad days from here on out!!!!
 
Sun valley has gotten their shit together and its pretty official now. The pipe wasn't open last year around christmas and they normally slack. Don't hope for too much because they are just getting serious but I bet they will pull it together. I'll be back on the 22nd and ready to kill it. Hit the new ganjala and shred some powder.
 
yeah dude they dont wanna get sued for building jumps so big theyre dangerous. Bogus is just a loose cannon.
 
theyd be better off building big jumps, that way you wouldnt be able to overshoot them to fucking outerspace.
 
haha we blazed in it several rides up. the only time anyone said anything was the first ride when i think it got hotboxed too much and he just said keep it on the downlow, and maybe cause mac drew a potleaf on the window hahaha

I'm so stoked. They are claiming "70 footer" but i'll have to believe that when i see it... gonn abe shredding this bitch for the next week straight! yayer
 
The park is fucking I'll, Nice 40 footer to a 45 footer with some tang. The only thing is the second jump never gets sun in the landing
 
If you want to see some vid go to you tube hit "BC images sun Valley Dollar park". We had a blast on test day! We are changing the park by weekly to keep it fresh so if you keep on coming back it will have changed up lines each time most likely. The new change starts for presidents day weekend.
 
i just got back from dollar. its nice. it sucks that the landings never see the sun, cause its always icy and hard
 
i just enjoy how chilled out, and low key sun valley is. there are never any lift lines and you never have to wait long to hit the jumps.
 
most likley the biggest jumps in the state and your complaining.., and before you have even seen or hit them. shut the fuck up all you do is hate in this forum. calling a nice set of jumps small doesnt make your little cock seem bigger so you can quit anytime.
