Sun Correction Help

So I'm starting an edit of my buddy and most of our bangers were shot yesterday at sunset so in some shots he gets lost in the sun.

Used a Gopro and Final Cut Pro to edit. Is there a way to fix the footage so that he's clearer to see in this lighting?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

What version of GoPro? You could try lowering the exposure in FCP, cant think of anything else you could do in post at the moment

Ah yeah, I guess there isn't much I can do, all good. ah well, looks majestic af sending backies into the sunset.
