Summit County Question

I need to find some info on what the snow is typically like in Summit County in both early-mid and mid-late March. My brother and I are looking to take a trip to Summit County, and are meeting some people in Breck the 12-15 of March, but we are also going to be out there for a few more days beyond that. Would we be better off skiing before that (like the 7th-15th) or after (12th-20th)?

What is the snow conditions typically like that time of year, and are there any areas that are better than others in that time of year?

life is too short to have any regrets

all the summit mountains will have everything covered and open in march for sure. the rest depends on the temperature and the luck you have with the snow gods. it's more specific areas on mountains that you want to avoid, such as the super bee lift on copper (but you wouldn't be there in the first place anyway i'd imagine).

but yeah, everything will be open, and everything will be covered unless it's a rediculously lousy snow year. i usually ski copper and winter park, and WP has slightly better snow typically, but not that much of a difference really

yeah early march is probably my favorite time to ski, everything will be most likely be open, and the parks are always perfect. march is also colorado's snowiest month. two years ago in mid-march we got about 4.5ft of snow in denver, i cant remember how much the mtns got but it was a shit-ton.

woah sorry i forgot that last question...you really cant go wrong with either of those options, although you might want to go earlier in march to beat the spring-breakers
