I apologize if this topic has been touched on many times. I searchbarred and couldnt find anything I was looking for

anyway, first of all is there any deadline to buying a pass? I cant find anything on the websites and it looks like its still 479 so I want to purchase soon before any price hike

second, myself and 4 friends will be driving out for like 8 days in march. will it be possible to purchase the pass online pretending were 18 and have no issues presenting identification or anything? it seems like this is super doable, especially since we mostly look pretty young when we shave. anyone have any experience with this?

thanks guys

saving 110 bucks isnt being a cheap ass especially on top of the other passes im already purchasing....

its a legitimate question because at my home resort I know kids ususally buy the 21 and under pass until they are like 25 because you dont have to show id. knowing the vail corp or whoever runs the epic pass thing they will ask for id tho

anyone with actual experience not just a guess?

Yeah, if you buy a pass online and pick it up at the resort they will definitely ID you. But you could definitely buy it and have it mailed to you and probably get away with it. Shops that sell season passes (Colorado Ski and Golf etc) rarely check IDs either in my experience, but the season pass office on the mountain definitely will.

pass sales are ending tomorrow for sure, I work in the ticket office at breck and they will go up a lot after this weekend. also, its best to just buy your pass online especially if you are coming in march, but if you have to go to a ticket office to pick up your pass they will ask for an ID, and if they seen you are not 18 then you will either have to pay the difference or not use your pass at all. I would just pay the extra money because if you do get caught, you wont be able to use your pass and will probably not be able to afford to pay the difference.
