Summit at Snoqualmie Slopestyle Saturday the 22nd!!!

They just moved the slopestyle comp from March 16th, to next Saturday the 22nd! My guess is that they realize they're probably going to loose all their snow pretty quick, so they want at least a few things out of the way, so yeah. Looks like you'll need a raincoat or poncho or ten ribbed condoms for your fingers...hm, oh....what? stop it. here's the details kiddies:

22nd Feb. 2003 The Summit Series - Slopestyle - Summit West

The first event in our series sponsored by Snowboard Connection, Lib Tech/GNU, Burton, K2 Snowboarding, Atomic Snowboards, Sessions and Smith. Registration is in Rosita's Cafe at Summit West from 8am to 9:30am the morning of the event. Contestants must have a helmet and a parent/legal guardian signed release (if under 18 years of age) to compete.

yeah, i just heard ont he radio that there is a winter storm warning in effect for the cascades and they're expecting 1-2 feet by friday....but then i realised that the snow levels' gonna be up around 4500 ft. here comes the rain!!!!!

The snow level at Baker is expected to be around 2500 feet. It'll top out on Thurs at 4k, which is pretty much the base, and then nuke 12-24inches by Friday afternoon, according to the NOAA website. Fuck slopestyle and skiercross, I'm skiing some pow-pow!

 
same with me, i as gonna do skierx and mybe the slopestyl, but with possible pow, thats all out the window... howeve, if it turns to crap or doesnt snow oo much, the i do them, but thats ulikely, wooooooo
