Summerski around the West coast

Hey guys,

me and my GF are planing to go to the States & Canada next Spring/Summer. (living in Switzerland)

We were wondering which skiresorts are open during April-June? (Westcoast)

I know about the most popular one‘s like Whistler, Hood, but don‘t really know any opening times.

Our plan is to fly to Canada(probably Vancouver) ski there for a bit & than make our way south towards oregon & probably till Denver before heading back towards LA. But its still a rough idea with plenty of changes to come??

Maybe someone can help me or send me a helpful link??

Opening times or dates? Timberline doesn't actually close in the spring.

Depending on snow, Squaw is usually open til june, same with Snowbird. Mammoth is typically open til June as well.

Timberline (Mt Hood) is typically open from late november through august. The spring pass is valid from march-june and I think it was about $175 this year. After June is summer season and day tickets are $90 this year, summer passes are $900

Anyone have an idea of when Timberline is going to shut down Palmer? I'm trying to go in August but i dont want to wait too long

I heard August 13th or 14th. Depends on the weather goes this next month though

Whistler shut down early this season & last season. There was no summer skiing on the glacier either.

The Horstman T Bar has been removed. I haven't heard any announcements about what's happening in regards to summer skiing going forward... and they definitely closed early this season to save money. Wouldn't be surprised if they do it again next year to cut costs. That's just my take idk
