Summer Urban

So this might be thought of before, but say you get 2 rolls of Turf. And you take the longest one depending on how long you'd want it, and nail it to a small kicker and roll it out so you can use a bungee or whatnot to get the speed, and roll the other one as a landing and you have urself a VERY lightweight portable urban summer option.

Opinions?

Not sure how but fashion it so the run in is a bunch of small pvc pipes to the turf jump. So kinda like a ladder out of pvc laid flat on the ground?

If you attach it so you can roll it up, for it to be portable, thats not a bad idea at all, but isnt it hard to turn on pvc? I dont really have any experience with it.

but but ur falling into direct concrete vs winter theres a bit of snow to soften it. also, how do u plan on riding it out if u come off early?

Me and some friends are planning to do some filming with a setup similar to this in a few weeks time. We've scoped out some urban rails here in the UK which we are going to film on using a home made bungee/winch, some rolls of face green grocers grass, some construction fence and other bits and pieces. We've also got some sheets of Dendex and Snowflex from out local slope as well to use and some kickers as well.

Living in England, we never really get any snow so this is the best urban setup we get.

Keep yours eyes peeled for the first UK webisode dropping in the next few weeks!

just pull a jackass.throw a towel over a longboard and tape that bitch down. then just have someone push ya in and just hop off the longboard onto the rail. if you're worried about the consequences of coming off early either throw on a helmet or wait for the winter.
