Summer training

What do you guys do to keep that park muscle memory over the summer, it’s my first year and i’m nervous i’ll lose some of that memory and have to start again. I’m going to my hood the year but what else could i do? any exercises or training? thanks

Diving boards cause me to broke for tramp and the town pool is like a 5minute bike ride. Skate for balance and cause it’s fun. And mtb to keep them legs alive

i’ve never skated but all my skiing buddies do it so if i’ll get into it

Work so your time is filled and u don’t spend 9 hours of your day on NS. Lotta people would prolly say skating, biking, slacklining, cliff jumping...just try to stay active

I go to drop in trampoline almost every week and do some park rollerblading. I'm way more afraid of falling on concrete than snow so I'm not super good at blading but it's a lot of fun, and the huge variety in grinds is super cool. There is always something new to learn even on a simple ledge or on coping.

If there's a dry or indoor slope near to you, I'd recommend going once every week or two. I used to be really really rusty whenever I got back on snow, I started going to a dry slope near me once a week or so, it definitely improved my skills considerably. Highly recommended it.

Where there a dry slope in us ? Or you not in us

if you have some homies...pitch together some cash and build a summer setup...built mine for under $100, excluding some "borrowed" pvc pipes

Thank you ! I am going to make that drive 7 hrs) ... in the next couple weeks to hit that place up. I been looking and looking I don’t see anything in the Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, Tennessee area but that place ... is that the only one ?

There's another one way up in NJ called American Dream..

as for the summer training= I cycle, run, try to skateboard, visit the trampoline place a couple times, go to the gym.... I bought a pair of skates so that will be something new . Also I finally have a yard so I plan to build a set up.

Gym sessions to get my body right for the coming season. Any type of action sport (inline, skating, BMX , whatever) to help me keep that progression mindset and to give me a similar type of stoke to what I get when I land new shit on skis.

You must be European...I’m super jealous if there were any dry slopes near me I’d be hitting them every day of the summer
