Summer surf spots

StartFragmentAnyone know of any drivable surfing spots down in the states anywhere? I'd like to take a 4 day weekend sometime this summer and head south along the east coast and do some surfing.EndFragment

I know you said in the States, but Lawerencetown beach in Nova Scotia is a great surfing location, and it's close to Halifax for some night life.

apparently some of the best surfing in canada is around lake huron according to come old surf bum in tofino
