Summer surf spots

Anyone know of any drivable surfing spots down in the states anywhere? I'd like to take a 4 day weekend sometime this summer and head south along the east coast and do some surfing.

threads because id like to know the same thing, going surfing (well bodyboarding to be exact, dont hate) every couple of years when i go to portugal doesnt really give me my fix.

Check out Wells Beach in Maine. Not sure how consistent the surf is but when I was there it was around 4 feet. Great place to learn.

Maine. It's dope! I have surfed there and had a ton of fun. I'll post the beach when I remember it haha.
