Summer snow solution

I have heard alot of talk about ice skating rinks leaving a pile of shaved ice outside that you can pick up and take to some rail or something. Anyway, i have a list of about 25 rinks in my area and now i am on a quest to find one that leaves their snow around. So the people that have done it before tell me where do they leave it usually, what do i look for a door or in back?, and how many ice rinks actually do this. If someone could give me some tips that would be great.

 
almost every rink does it, just look behind the rink, theres a huge pile back there usually

i visited yesterday at our rink. they had 25' tall piles of snow there.

just loofor a huge garage door or whatever, lots of arenas around me dont have ice in the summer, they turn the rinks into roller hockey rinks.

Probably because we're all so broke, and wouldn't spend as much money as the ice skaters.

every rink does it you just need to beable to be there before it melts....look for big doors where the zamboni would come out..

most of the time its not if there is enough snow its how many trips you wanna take to get the snow, or how many trucks you have. my freind and i filled up my pussy truck (mazda B2200) and that was enough snow to put on a hill and cover a little board with astroturf for a jump. just get a bunch of people with trucks and set up a summer ski session

Here is my cheapass solution for using your parents regular car: Go to a K-mart type of store. Buy one of those crappy plastic pools. Put it crunch it up in the trunk or backseat and fill her to the rim. Pretty sketchy, but if you really want to urban jib, you will do it!

or steal a bunch of shopping carts, and tarps. Put the tarps in the shopping carts, the tarps act as trash bags, the cart acts as a trash can. Use the carts to transport snow short distances.

Are you sure this is true guys cause it seems to good to believe. I live in hot ass LA, do these city rinks do it too?

 
most ice rinks have rails right there anyway, set it up at night so you dont get caught using their rails too
