Summer skiing at the Gore mtn Ski bowl?

Hey guys, I already posted this in the gore cult, but I figured I'd post it here so everybody can see it.

But anyway... I was just wondering what everyone would think of a summer

skiing set up at the bowl. We would probably keep the park where it is

now, but lay down some of that fake snow carpet stuff. It would

probably be like a few rails, and maybe a jump or two (We can push up

the dirt underneath to make jumps, then put carpet on that.) Theres

already a lift there, so it could be lift accessed. This is just an

idea right now that we're talking about, so maybe if I could show the

general manager that a lot of people would come that it could actually

happen. It would be the only summer skiing that I know of in the area.

What would you guys want to see? I think this would be a awesome thing to have, as I would LOVE to be able to ski in the summer and I'm sure others would come too.

There also might be a skate park coming in soon, but that's just a rumor.
 
Probably wont happen. Usually the mountains are on state land and leased for only a few month out of the year. Thats why they close before the snow melts.
 
that would be pretty fucking dope.. but i think the wat the rails and boxes are right now would be way hard to hit in the summer. need to have them at ground level..
 
the "rumor" or a skate park is getting set up right now i know the person who is pushing for it and he said that it was porbly gunna happen, and the summer skiing would be dope, and thats town owned land not state owned and leased out.
