how much does it cost to ski at mount hood in the summer. just the ticket cost and i know there is windells and what are the best acoomadations to stay near the mountain.

i'm pretty sure a summer pass is around 800 and a daily lift tickets are around 60. you should also check out the oregon regional forums

pretty sure Hood is the only one. Last year Mt Bachelor opened on 4th of July weekend for a couple days, they had no park. but it was still skiing, I doubt they do it this year though

Only realistic summer park is Timberline, even if other places are open till early July.

Expensive tickets. Offset the costs by camping for free at the airstrip. Don't try to poach (Timberline or any of the camps). Public park is usually quite fine.

If youre resourceful you can be there for all of july (best weather) and spend very little. you might have to live in some not so excellent conditions and do some hiking and risk getting caught and kicked off the mountain but its possible.

or you can go out for a week, live in a tent, buy tickets ($50 usually) and ski public park which is pretty sick and have a great time.

Not april fools, it is legit. The manager sees the interest in this as well, the only thing holding them back is that they are logging in that area and the access road would go right through the rope tow.
