Setting up this years summer season in Australia has been a huge ball ache, with all the paperwork and organizing transportation ect.. so I was thinking of doing Canada next year, only I got no knowledge on summer skiing up there... Where are the good resorts? Which ones are best for freestyle in summer? Do any have pipes? Mucho gracias!

this is not true, whis public park is way better than momentum for rails, but the jump are a bit smaller, but its whitler you cant go wrong with that

Ya honestly id go to whistler. I love the public park. super fun and flowy. And whistler is probably the sickest place on earth to live in so ya. come to canada :)

if your looking to get the most skiing out of your trip, do the Australia or NZ thing and not North America. Hopefully you`ll be going to either Perisher or Falls Creek this summer, you`ll probly change your mind on the hassle of getting there after doing the season.

Whistler can only offer a month of summer riding.

Come to whistler dude, fucking hell of a lot better than australia resort wise, hell you'll probably never want to leave and just stay there all winter for years to come.

I would suggest if you're planning on using a summer park at a mountain whistler would be good, but keep in mind the further north you go the more snow they have year round. I've lived in BC my whole life and grew up in Terrace BC which is about a day and a half drive from whistler(depending how you drive). The Mountains up there have some decent snow roughly all year round on mountains all around(The rockys). Jasper is a good area. If I were you I would just drive up a mountain and not have to pay any fees(aside from gas) but you would have to build your own park set-up.

also up in Terrace there is a company there that does heli-skiing and if I'm not mistaken its called Northern Escape. Match Stick Productions have done a few segments up in Terrace BC.

I'll give you whistler is a way sicker place than hood off mountain, but hood is gonna be way cheaper to travel to/live at. i guess the parks are pretty much equal? idk never been there, I dont think they have a public pipe at whistler though.
