Summer ski camps

Have any of you gone to those summer ski camps? like High North or Camp of Champions? I was looking at them and was wondering if they're worth paying like $2,500 for. Do they actually help you alot or is it just like an expensive waste of time?
 
i went this summer and it was one of the funnest thing i have done in a while definatly going back
 
its definitely worth it, you meet pros and learn new tricks, meet awesome people and if you go to whistler, the village is a cool place and you can check out all of next seasons skis
 
I went to HN this year and it was wayyy dope, deffently worth the money, i dint learn much, but just he fun of it was very worth it
 
I think it'd be fun however, I can get 4 seasons passes and still have money for gas for the same price as 1 week of skiing.
 
2500!! i cant afford that! holly fuck im sure airfair is on top of that too i thought it was 1000$ and i was thinking about going but no way now
 
yeah i had no idea it was that expensive, i thought it was around 1500. i guess for all those skiiers whose parents dont spoil the shit out of them, theres no hn or coc in there future :-(
 
1 sesh at momentum is 1700 or atleast this year it was but it was the time of my life 3rd year and running
 
yea but with the spending money and the airplane tickets and the extra money you have to pay to get confirmed or whatever its around 2500, a little more
 
i pay for camp myslef. and my plane tix and all my spending money...and my seasons pass, and gas to go skiing all year. so yea not eveyone who goes to camp is a spoiled brat, some people work thier asses off all year while carrying a full course load, making deans list, and skiing in order to be able to go.

 
Just Got back from Windell's yesterday...OMG that shit is sooooo sick.

And I got so much better. Could barely 3 before and now I can 5, sw 3, 270 on boxes, and 180 in aand out on wall ride...

Definetely worth it.
 
Ya no doubt it gets me kids sit on there couch and do nothing and complian casue there parents dont pay for shit!
 
thanx girl! stupid guys....good thing we dont take ne thing the stupid 12 year olds on this site say too seriously. have fun at windells!!! you should come to momentum next year!!! i was at summit yesterday talking to teddy about how u guys tried to set up the jam in boston...he isnt sure if he is having another one yet.
 
don't hate on her just cause she's killing it at life.

go to high north. it's worth every cent. it's a week and a half of skiing with new friends in a dope park, then partying at night....and you're in whistler. best time of your life right there
 
ya and some ppl are just like you...work 40 hr weeks while going to skool, but then this goes back to the rich thing, if ure parents wernt rich then they wouldnt be able to pay for ure skooling without you helping, so you would have to use some of ure money for tuition and food so then u wouldnt be able to go
 
i pay for my own school....i pay for my books...my tuition...i have loans out my ass and scholarships and grants. i live at home so i dont have to pay room and board....but thats about it.
