Summer setup help

I want to ski this summer but my backyard is flat. I want to build a miniature tower or stand in my backyard to get speed. Does anyone have a photo or guide of what they used to accelerate. Slides are also a possibility. I know a kid who can sell me one but it looks pretty sketchy.
