Summer setup for beginners

Hi there i'm pretty much a new guy here, while checking the forums i saw a lot of threads about summer setups, and i was thinking about building one. I got a pair of park skis last year and i have only tried some flat boxes. So is it worth for a beginner to build a summer setup, is it possible to make progress or not ?

If you have the money or supplies to build one definitely do it! I have learned a lot in the past month of having mine! Check out the build a jib cult herehttps://www.newschoolers.com/cultforum/453/Build-A-Jib-101?page=1

most definitely, even if you don't learn any tricks (doubtful) its good for learning muscle memory/unnatural slides

Go for it. Make some progress, even if its only a little. Home Depot has AstroTurf for $20 for 48 square feet. put some soapy water on it, lay some pieces above and below a feature, and you should be good to go.
