Summer rails

I am thinking about building some rails/boxes for this summer, give me some ideas. I have a shitload of wood palletes in my garage and no pvc but im going to buy some

Make one long pvc rail and a couple smaller ones. Get 3 or 4 solid pvc pipes, cut 2 of them in half, and make 4 small rails that are super sturdy so you can make down flats and elbows and gaps and stuff. Use the pallets as a middle section, like have your drop in to a short rail, then land on the pallet with some astro turf or m snow, and have another rail after that. Or use the pallets like a cool transfer off a rail at the end.

that would actually be so sick having a rail then turf then rail with the pallets holding everything up

Not quite the same thing but the 2 rail line is def where it's at. Used pallets here to stay off the ground and build the second kicker. Had enough speed that a raised middle wasn't needed though.

If I was building a summer set up I would build a drop in to maybe 4 feet and then have another hill. So you could drop in, hit a flat rail, land on a hill, get more speed and hit another flat rail. Depending on your hill you could also throw a down rail on it.

I mean the regular drop ins get the job done but why not get ridiculous? I was going to build a dfd setup with possibly a 25' ish dfd ledge and rail. I build an 18' tall drop in but stopped there and gave it away. Realized that nobody lives near me and it would be too gnar to hit in the dark by myself. Save myself some loot and aborted.

Cheapest solution is to find a nice stairset with a nice handrail, click in, hop on a longboard and jump on the rail. 50% chance of death but if the thirst for rails is real that is what is necessary.

im working on building an interchangeable rail, so i dont need multiple rails. Just one base with multiple tops. Ill post pics when i finish

If you use 4" PVC you can use the black 3" PVC connector pieces and they fit perfectly inside to connect pieces of 4" PVC.

If you put a couple connectors together with 3" PVC you can make a longer connector that will keep the connection stronger.
