summer rails

theres this handrail at mount snow that i want to slide really bad, but i dont know how do get speed. Is there anything i can build to make me gat speed to hit it, i know i need a ramp but before that, all it is is wooden stairs that are at a non steep slope.

no dude i know which one your thinking of but not that one, the one im talkin about is kind of unknown, you gotta be a local (like me) to even know about it. It goes from the main base lodge down to preffered parking which is a place where you pay to park i only found it cuz i was mountain biking there a year ago.

no but i will if anyone will tell me how to make a speed apparatus, ive heard like wet carpet works or some shit but i dunno

the best way to do summer rails is to get a truck and go to an ice rink... get the ice shavings and fill a truck... then use wood and hay bails to make a ramp and then put the shavings on it as snow... then put ice shavings at the landing too.

thanks, i dunno how many of my friends will wanna do this, but we'll see if i can employ them

yeah, the skating rink thing works the best. we do that every once in a while. it's just slushy wet snow, and works great. and if you put some warm temp wax on, you won't need much to get good rail speed
