Summer Rail

I was thinking of building a sumer rail since i just found out my work has an ice machine for their HUGE freezer so i can get all the shredded ice i want. So should i use metal or PVC and do i need to wax it or anything or just slide?anything else i need to know?

if it's a metal rail you shouldn't need to lube it up, it should be slick enough already.

same for pvc, no lube required. the only thing that needs to be soaped up is wood.

pvc is betta if ur gonna build a rail, cheaper and easier
