Summer Rail Set-Up

We set this sucker up today with snow from the ice rink:

It was bad at first (notice 2 skiing pics) because we had a huge canyon right before the jump making it impossible to pop, but we fixed it up, but our camera died before we could take a new pic with the board in the crater.

We got it down pretty good after we fixed it/got second load of snow. We'll get some video this weekend probably. The rail is still pretty low to the ground because that's as high as we can have it for the speed/crappy jump we have.

well then congrats on fixing the jump and getting the rail. it helps a lot in the winter. for speed try getting some orange fence instead and use water and soap on it. if you fdont want it then use water and soap on the thing you have now. i do highly recomend the orange stuff thoguh

you have to replace that... but whatever works for you. id just hate to drive to the ice rink every time i wanted to ski id rather sacrifice turning for convenience

What's the material up top? On the inrun? It looks like a bunch of donuts, but its sweet. I saw a bunch of boarders hitting that rail before.

how do you get the snow from the ice rink? Do you just ask em and they save some for you

Just call your local ice rink and ask if they have any snow you can have. We called up 2 or 3 of them. One melted all theres in like a fire or something, one didn't answer, and one put all their snow on the edge of the parking lot. So we pulled my junker of a car up there, loaded it with snow until my back tires were touching the wheel base and made out way home.
