Summer Rail Jam Series at Ski Ward this Friday

A 3-week series of rail jams in our summer setup starts this Friday, Sept. 21. The park has 4 features, is lift serviced and made out of Neveplast. Join us and Boston Ski & Tennis for prizes, giveaways, and more. Categories for ski and snowboard, 15 and under and 16+. Registration: 5:30pm Practice at 6:15 and event starts at 6:30pm. $15 for lift ticket and event fee. Helmet, park safety pass and signed waiver are required. Visit skiward.com for details.
 
the setup is super sketchy, the neveplast is like football field turf but the bristles are hard, so when you fall it hurts like hell. For me it took me like 15 runs to get used to the material.
 
Really fun event, I met a lot of NSers and ended up getting 2nd. I don't go on here much, but I would strongly encourage people to come to the competitions for a fun event with your friends under the lights and maybe win a few goodies.

Thanks to you guys at ski ward for hosting a fun little event and all the kids on here who came out. You guys are really sick at skiing and nice people.

i went as well, and ended up in first... cant wait for the next one, should be good to see everyone back there again and hopefully we can get more kids to go next time!
 
Were you the kid in the white Odd Future shirt throwing pretzels? Who were you, I was in black tall t and got second. Honestly you should have beat me, lol.
 
I didn't get the 2 disaster sticked like brandon, but I was close hahaha. Zan got a sketchy blunt grab on, which would've been dope as well if he'd cleaned it up with a few more hits or done a stale. Hopefully there will be some shots out of the comp. Zan's brother was filming the whole thing as well as 2 other kids and ski-ward people. I'll probably try to post some pics of his or help him edit.

You guys all kill it. I could never do half of that shit. Like the pretzals, going switch onto the rail mid-run and butters on, 'Tokyo-difts' and those crazy futurespins on that box brandon was doing. If you're interested, I'll probably go back next week with Zan and some more friends possibly. Such a fun experience, are you going next week? I'll try and make some sort of edit and ask him to post it on here.

^Congrats you too on the wins, especially you Mark for hucking so hard and getting back up after getting hurt. Also to your dad for taking us to such a laid back fun event.

Squirrely you freaking killed it with your pretzels and tech rail tricks lik the b-fed on the flat down tube. Major props to you. bo. you killed it with that beast of a first finals run and that 2 on! Definitely deserved the win. Don't remember everyone who came's name but RamZ was killing it and so were the boarders.

So much fun, you guys all fucking slay, I am so impressed by the talent. I didn't get my whole run the way I wanted and it still wouldn't compare to you guys hahaha. Thank you so much Ski Ward for having this event. Nice to meet some of you guys there too. I'm so hyped for the next 2 which I'll hopefully make it to and the season to come.
 
I'm the kid who made himself look like an idiot when throwing those pink socks back on the table....oops. I gave the other pair to my madre but they were for little girls size small. I think they need some better prizes next time :D I kinda sucked but it was fun and good to see everyonez again. Definitely going next weak

Is the next one this friday? Might go with my boarder friend. But I suck ass a tech rail tricks so I will just fuck around during the comp, is it really competitive?
 
Naw, it's super laid back and stuff, just a fun time with your friends. I mean people throw down, but you can just chill and sesh for fun.

The next one is on Friday. And naw everyone there is just having a good time. All the skiers were talking about tricks and helping each other out and stuff. And then there were some kids who were chillin and having a good time. Maybe if we get more skiers there will actually be a 1-3 placing unlike the 1-2 they had last week haha.
 
you can sign up early on skiward.com, and it saves you 5 dollars too... i didnt do it last time but i just signed up for this fridays online
 
i heard its cancelled... not positive on that though, im debating going up anyways just because i want to ski so bad

I feel you. i forgot about this little snowflex gem roughly 35 minutes away. imma need make that trip and shred with all yall!!
