Summer park setup

I'm thinking about making a summer setup this winter, i have a flat spot behind my house. Any building plans for a drop in / jump? What materials are best?I dont really wanna spend 500 dollars on some damn msnow. I know plastic lattice is good for the drop in as well, but how much turf or whatever do i need for around the rail on the ground? I have a pvc rail i made and a fat pvc pipe, but don't really know how to build a frame for it.

Idk of you can still view build a jib cult. Maybe on archive if its not on ms anymore. Will try to link some stuff.

Don't want it insane but a lot of people build too short. Lattice, construction femce, pvc strips all work for speed.

If you're going to throw ice or snow on it ever worth having some strips of whatever material so the snow sticks.

Carpet or turf on the takeoff can be nice so you can edge a little.

Drop in can be whatever gets you there fast. Cross bracing goes a long way for sturdy drop ins that wont fall over.

Build several rails that you can combine into cool combos.

Have fun, get sick af at skiing, ?????, profit

I built my drop-in with $120 worth of homedepot 2x4's, osb plywood, and indoor outdoor carpet. I made my drop in 5ft tall. As long as everything is screwed together someone legit it'll be fine. Stand and jump on it, wiggle back and forth. It's called summer sketchup for a reason. IMO it's not worth to spend unreal amounts of money on it. Below is the base that you should start with. You need two sets of transitions before you create a short flat area and then the lip too.

i'm pretty much almost done with mine, im just going to buy another piece of lattice to finish off the drop in. The total was like 90 bucks for the turf, i found the tube on craigslist for free, and i just used all the wood from my neighbors yard lol.

$100-160 for msnow seems hella worth it to me for the drop in. The stuff lasts for years and slides great dry in all conditions
