Hello all my fellow UK friends,

Is there any cats here that are up for L2A this summer? Such a fun place in the summer, and as I live in Portsmouth I know like 2 people that ski and getting to Hemel on a Friday is next to impossible when you cant drive.

I went out there last summer with Maverix, but I really cant afford to do that again, especially with the prices gone up even more, so I was thinking about just going with 'The Riders Apartments'(self catering food is easy to ration if you don't want to spend a lot of money), which is a dead cheap hotel for skiers/snowboards, mostly young as well, 16-25 or so.

its €250 or €265(if there's less the 5 of you) for 7 days/nights with 6 days lift pass(includes different things in the town, summer luge, minigolf etc etc. Good night life as well.

The easiest to travel is the Eurostar, well, cheapest as flights are like £250/£300+, you switch at Paris which is easy if you just get a taxi. My train ticket last year was £190 which includes all 4 stops, doesn't take long at all, and then its a €5 transfer to L2A from Grenoble.

Shouldn't be too hard to plan if we can communicate well, and if so just book all separately for the extra €15 if you feel safer doing that, its best off getting this done earlier in the year as it gives people chance to save, earlier in the summer is better due to snow but from this season that may not be a very big issue, I cant do 6th-13th, but any time before/after is good.

Lets make this happen!
 
If people put dates together anytime within the summer, like i've listed above i can't do 6th-13th of July, but apart from that any time is fine.

The park is huge, so much choice, you can literally lap all day if you want, and when the T-bars start closing you can just hike a box, that we done last year.

It was honestly the best week i've had in a long time, went out there knowing no-one, met loads of great people, the night life is great as well, and the weather is normally very hot as well, loads to do in the town as well, Devil Karting, Luge, Driving range, etc(most included on your lift pass as well).
 
Unfortunately I have exams in July and so the only time away I can get is on or after Wednesday 25th July. Riders apartments close on 13th August according to the website.

I am hoping to get one week(at the very least) to two weeks away this summer.

Have been having a look at britishfreeski camps as well.
 
i live in morzine , me and a few guys are game to hit l2a so keep me posted. was riding there last week park was better last year in my opinion. and its super busy on the weekends atm too.
