Summer kicker setup!

Hey there ;)

i'm from a country with snow in 1-2 months a year, sometimes less, sometime nothing. (denmark)

So i'm looking for ideas to make a summer kicker setup in my backyard.

i've already seen alot of jib setups so i know how to make a drop-in, but the problem is the landing..

the kicker shouldn't be mini size with low airtime, but something so its possible to do a 540, maybe a 720 ;)

a landing shouldn't be something that hurts me more than falling on a normal snow kicker.

any ideas is accepted, i was thinking about a air bag, but that stuff is expensive as hell..

(what about landing in a pool of those soft cubes, hows the price for that stuff?)

Thanks in advance ;)

The inrun can be made of turf. You could land in snowflex or whatever its called (the white stuff). Snowflex comes in two different types, one soft one, and one hard. Maybe you shoud have the soft type in ur landing.Or you could have this:Take some old foamy mattresses and cut them up in pieces, and put them in a pit = foampit.I know a guy that knows a guy that did this. I was over at his ramp once, and it worked, it was sick cool and soft to land in. If I were you I would do that

thanks for your reply ;)

The price of Snowflex seems to be sick..

i will try to see the price for foam mattresses, it actually seems to be a very good idea :)

or...1. get lots of denmarkian bitches...2. put them in said pool3. ??????4. profit
and go on epic ski vacation with the profit

that wont help with skiing at all, if you can already do those spins, why would you build an extravagent, expensive trhing to do them except faster and more hucked?

seriously, theres a reason no one has a summer setup with a jump and no rail-its just stupid and doesnt work

so just make one with a rail, unless you have a big enough hill, huge jump, an inground pool and a shitload of time on your hands.

landing on land wont work, you will eat shit every time! the jump should be big enough to grab, spin and flip on to be worthwhile, or else you will be doing the same basci trick over and over and learning nothing!

Yah unless you throw together a set-up like in that one edit with the huge wooden jump beside the pond, throwing mad dubs and shit.

would you have fun doing pencil 5s off an astroturf setup onto the ground or into a pool for very long? once you got it down, then you cant do anything else! hear me?

grabs, switch, rightside? he didn't even specify how big it was actually going to be. for all we know, he could have Kilimanjaro next to his garage and he could using that shit as an inrun.

boom. thank you.
to SEA... pencil 5 after pencil 5 eventually becomes a grabbed 5. its a damn good way to gain control. and to have fun with what starts out as a huckfest.
step 1. summer setupstep 2. left pencil 5step 3. ??????step 4. switch right octo 5step 5. moar profit

I made a rail setup and turf does not go fast. So you need a big ass hill. If it works, mad props to you and also invite me to sesh ;)

heres an idea...dont ski. OMG! woah thats a thought. its like saying you live in antartica and want to water ski... like either move, or dont try it
