Summer Jib Set Up.. (Best way)

I Have watched a lot of videos here on newschoolers that have summer jobs in them, i wanted to get others takes on what would be the best things to uses and why. Thanks for any and all comments

just some basic info
you need a drop in to get speed probably you want it about 7 ft. talllay down some astroturf, you can buy this at home depot, lowes etc. this will help you gain speedyou want to make your rail out of wood and screw in some pvc pipes at the top. the pvs pipes slide amazingly well.you probably want your rail to be about 10-12' long.and you want it to be around 2 feet tall-ish

just some basic info, hope i could help.

alright because im cheap does anyone know where i could find some astroturf like at a construction site or something not sure why they would have it but yeah

so far we have spent no money on my setup just finding some wood in my garage from way back and pvc was made a year back so im trying to keep it no money

your 3ft tall shutup. nah just kidding i was just making sure there wasnt some place with it laying around

Try to find a mini golf course and see if they have any they're not using. It probably won't be in the best condition, but it'll be free.

mhhm good idea we used to have a mini golf but it got torn up for condos a year or to back so thats gone thanks anyway i might go to a golf course and sneak around back

yea dude summer seups are the easiest thing to build with no money just go arond to construction sites and ask for wood or pvc crates are also really good for buildin drop ins the put put course was a good idea ive never thought of that

I made mine for like 30$ and it works great. Out of 2x4s plywood pvc pipes and astroturf. you could probably make it for a lot less if you found a substitute for the astroturf since that cost the most, and you could probably find all the other materials for free in dumpsters and stuff too.

I used almost all new wood, and mine cost $120, and I'm getting turf for free. Mine only cost so much because it is burly as fuck though. The frame for the drop-in ways a couple hundred pounds, it took 4 people to lift it to move it.

Well idk if it helps but I just built this in about an hour.. all fo' free! Lots of wood in my barn, and I was happily surprised to find some pipes that my dad said I could have too!

Yea, I've heard real carpet can work pretty well too if you get a little bit of snogel to put on it. There was a thread in build-a-jib from someone who did that; he said it was actually too fast at first.
