Summer is killing my rail game

Thinking of picking up aggressive inline this summer. I just can't stop shredding rails in the summer, the lifestyle can't just end when snow is gone. Just love that feel and if skating is the closest I can get I'll take it.

Build a summer set up and get a million times better on rails before the next season = winning.

Seriously. Most people that sesh in the summer learn a lot more. For some reason it isn't scary to try thing in your hard. Plus you get super used to the setup and you just go for it.

Once you get a trick locked it's easy to do it on snow. If you shred regularly you'll probably be able to do a ton of tricks in your sleep.

I picked up skating 3 weeks ago, it's all i do now. Let me save you some time:

1. Buy a pair of Razor Genysis

2. Learn pornstars and unities

3. NEVER FORGET TO WAX

If you have rail game on skis how hard is it to pick up some rail game on skates?

Come check out the summer setup at Ski Ward. It's lift-serviced and over 250' long with 4 features plus an airbag. Check it out here:

It sort of depends on who you are, my first day of skating i just slid a rail somewhat fine and now on my pac rail i have a bunch of new tricks, but other people, like some of my friends didn't transition as well

also it can help your rail game even more then a summer set up because of the fact that you have to get good at landings and there is less room for you to actually stay on the rail. Rollerblading is so sick to do for skiing because it keeps you, helps your rail game, and can help your jump game a lot too

As someone who's spent multiple summers skiing on glaciers, let me offer this advice: Do something besides skiing in the summer. Finding a new summer activity to get into—whether it's skating, biking, climbing, whatever—will, in the long run, be more enjoyable than working on your ski tricks all summer. Just my two cents.

Btw, rollerblading is badass, if you get started with it, your ski rail game is gonna step up big.

That's pretty much what I wanted to try. Same skates. glad i could get someone else's opinions first.

Summer set ups man. They are not expensive and you will get much better. I used to live 3 hours from shitty skiing. After hiyting my backyard set up just a few times over the summer (it is way too hot in atlanta) i became a lot better than most locals at rails. Then i stopped hitting my set up and couldn't ski much in the winter, and i started to suck and everyone else got amazing. Dont start to suck. Get a summer set up.

I'm a little over a month in and rail game is no issue if you just want to hit stuff as if you were on skis, no tech. Hell you even lock into to the rell, just have to avoid fallind, but it's pretty boring. Soul trick are sketchy as all hell though, my strong suits are pornstars and mizzous. but let me tell you i've taken some gnarly slams learning that shit, a wheel on a ledge can fuck you up bad...

No but seriously just pad up and sack up. Switch ups can get super fun once you start figuring shit out and if you can commit to your tricks on rails, you'll be slaying in no time

Uhuh! That's the closest thing you could ever do, or... you can still have your rail game continue, if you'll save some money and then go to ski resorts in Chile, Argentina or British Columbia.
