Summer Glacier Public Park?

I'm planning on staying in Whistler for the summer. What does the Whistler public terrain park typically have set up? What box features/rails? How big are the jumps, if any? How much is a seasons pass to ride from mid-June to end-July. Thanks!
 
Last summer they had a pretty decent setup from the features that I remember. It kept changing though.
Rails: flat down bar, one or two down boxes, down flat boxJumps: a really fun 15-20 footer to a 20ish footer

For the summer I feel like that's enough to have some good fun on.
 
The park last summer was decent but your going to have to do a bit of hiking if you want it to really be worth it. the lineups for the t-bar at the bottom become crowded with the camp of champs, public park, racing camp, and the dave murray camp. But i feel like this year it will be much better park wise, they had the 2nd highest recorded snowfall in whistlers history. Either way if you go itll be amazing!
 
from what ive heard from the big wig is that theres gonna be the 4 benches in the same spot as last year plus where the air bag lane was last year a mini pipe and another 3 benches on the hike out of the pipe.
 
public park was a dancefloor, short t-box, corrugated pipe to another corrugated pipe, to a down rail
 
i think while the snow lasts, if i wasnt busy working id be shredding laps down 7th.. build some hits here and there, probably way more fun than the park right now
 
You usually never ski to the bus, you usually ski to the right towards Rendezvous instead to avoid taking the bus. You just have to hike more and more as the snow melts.

Sounds like there is more snow than the past few years!
 
Yeah, we skied only 5 days July 1st - July 5th and we were skiing towards Rendezvous the first few days and then had to download 7th. The year before I skied down towards Rendezvous every day until the 20th or so. I'm just saying that if you do ski down, you're not skiing under 7th, you're going the other way.
 
I'm looking to go around mid July, I don't wanna be blindsided by an early closing time- what date does the public park go, and what's the daily rate?
 
It's open till July 25th but is weather dependent. Lift tickets are $50 and if you have a seasons pass or an egde card you get a 25% discount.
 
Im riding until saturday.

Public parks pretty sick, its like:

Down bar with small flat at the end ( from whis park )

Long red flat box that was in blue park

Flat box that was first in whis park

shitty corrigated pipe

Red down bar from blue park

Also the mini pipe is open, and before it theres two long flat box's before it.
 
how were the jumps today? and the lines? im in hood right now, pubic is pretty lame, wondering if i should come up to whistler. is it worth it?
