Summer/fall skiing

i'm writing something and i need some info... are there any places in colorado (preferably not over 2 hours from boulder) where you can hike for some turns in august and september? give as much info as you can.

St. mary's Alice off of 1-70. You hike up the path for 15mintues and you get to a lake. The snow/ice is up to the right and many times there are rails set up... You have to hike in all the equipment but think of it as a hard hike up to the ski hill from your car. You can look up the trail info on the state parks website but I'm not sure what that is or go to a bookstore that has hiking info! See ya on Thursday!
