I really need to pick up a summer activity or hobby. Any suggestions guys? It can be anything really. Cheaper the better. I just need something to do that is entertaining and will help kill summer boredom. Even it is something that is not so mainstream don't be afraid to post it up... I'm open to lots of ideas.

bouldering all the way! (rock climbing big boulders with no rope)you can start off with normal shoes and do it for free. once you get into it all your going to want to buy is shoes and some chalk maybee a matress. its super fun and not mainstreem. go for it

if you have a bike then mountain biking is fucking amazingly fun, if not then get a mini lax stick or something, or masturbate

i recently started blading...but u could go with skateboarding. i personally went with blading just caz it's not as mainstream yet and no one really likes it which makes it unique. and plus i thought it would help with skiing...which it kinda does...it's not really cheap. if u can get them skates from someone from here or elsewhere u could possibly get it cheap, but most likely, if u don't, a pair will be like $150 plus...

longboarding and cliffjumping. oh and trampoline. as well as football workouts off season goes by fast

That would be sick, but I live in the midwest. We don't have boulders... well.. there is one spot, but it is 45 minutes away which would get very expensive gas wise.

skateboarding and downhill/freeride biking iz wat i do, skateboarding is a commitment to learn. and mtn bikes are pretttyexpensive, but def worth it, without biking summer would truly suck, its a fun sport, or u could start a stamp collection

yah I thought that too but you would be suprised if you look around. I climb at these small boulders in a forest near my town and its super sick. even a little 5 foot rock can be super fun if you start from the floor amd get technical.they are all over the place if you start looking for them

parkour? all u need is shoes that have decent grip and then you search your town for areas that look good. u should be able to find people who do it in your town as well quite easily on a parkour forum.
