iv been thinking about this for weeks. I need a new pair of skis... i grew like half a foot and my 1260's are waaaaay too small. Im trying to decide between the madtrix (172 or 181), or the 178 concepts (but open to any other suggestions). Im 5'10' and 170lb last time i checked. I ski around %80 park.. 20% mountain.. I want a nice solid ski..no soft flimsy crap. Help me!

definitely concepts..in my opinion the madtrix suck.

concepts would be sick. if you could get a pair of powairs, those would probably be good. the madtrixs are way to heavy with the binding system.

Mike here's what you do. get the 171 or 173 mad trix (i forget which one it is) don't get the 181s because I think that it'll be too much ski if you're used to something light like lines then you won't want the 181s. first of all... try them out. go find out where they're demoing them and try to get them without the binding system. they might be completely wrong for you, or completely perfect. I don't know, nobody can tell you for sure, especially when they've never seen you ski.

hmmm..yea..but i need a new pair before the season starts! if i demo skis it'll be a bit sketchy. iv ridden mad trix once before..but never in the park tho. hmmm!! my head hurts!!
