Suggestion for mounting AR7's

Getting my ar7's mounted this week. Was thinking -2.5 as I am looking for an all mountain park ski (something thats versatile everywhere, ~40 park/ 60 elsewhere).... I noticed factory spec was -5.0 but that seems excessive no?
 
I have my AR6s mounted at true centre and I love them. I had a little bit of trouble in deep snow but to be honest it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. They still carve on groomers really well and being mounted at centre makes it so easy to do butters. Just for fun I'm always buttering around to switch rather than jumping now.

If they're your only skis then maybe go for 2.5cm back from true centre, but I'll happy say that I'm very happy with mine at centre.
 
My T-halls which have the same dimensions just softer are -1.5 and I love them. They still carve well and are close enough to center that I can't tell the difference. I'd say go -2.5 for you, that was recommended for the T-halls at least.
 
I have mine at center and they rip every except for Pow. It was a little different at first since I had my el Rey's mounte at ski center and they carved slightly better. But once you adjust you can throw Nice wide gs turns anywhere
