Just to get a hype train going, my friend is on the park crew there and says that Mt. Ellen will have a jump in the park when it opens Friday. Hopefully they will open up a lot more rails in there too.

Sssoooo stoked!!

So you're saying that this coming weekend, Sugarbush North will be open and have a park?

do they have any jibs up. whats the setup looking like? is the mountain even open? couldnt tell from the sugarbush website haha.

might be going up sometime in the next few weeks never been to sugarbush before. just want to know what the jib deal is.

sugarbush plans to open mt ellen december 18th and i am guessing that the park will be moved there where it usually is.

they have close to 50 trails open right now (to the person who couldnt tell from the site, i hope youre joking)

and they have three things set up at the base of lincoln peak right now leftover from the railjam on saturday.

a decent length down bar

a down flat down

a fat down box

all features are setup with an urban style kicker (i like this mostly, but i would love to have a gap to box like other resorts so that i can attempt spins on with confidence. i hear that this doesnt happen though... )

I really hope there's a decent jump. I'm not very good at park and wanna have a good start to the season. I'll be the kid in the blue Saga top and gray Saga pants.

It would be real great if the park crew could make the jump line in the beginning of the park once they push the jumps, like it was two or three years ago, with that triple line. It was very similar to the triple line in the beginning of the park lane park at breck. It was a little annoying with the set up they had in the past, where the second or third jump was two kickers directly next to each other, apposed to three jumps in a straight line. Maybe others agree maybe not. I am pumped about the dfd and other new jibs they got.

cool, I'll watch for you. il be in purple jacket, white and purple and blue pants, white helmet. holler if you see me!

i only have one final left (sunday night) so ill probably be there wed, thurs, fri, and sat.

orange jacket, gray pants, orange ns sticker on my skis

im surrounded by boarders because my school has basically no newschoolers...

Really this would have me so unbelieveable stoked i'll be there on sunday red sweat shirt blue vest white pants hopefully on my s3s

I dunno, There was some nice powder in the woods... if that is still there, it will be a tough decision.

Regardless, I'll have yellow jacket, black pants

anyone hit paradise on 12/16? sweet pow stashes in the woods everywhere. untouched [above boot] pow if you went in far enough.

hah, yo if theres a jump im gonna be stokedd

uh, if anyone wants ta bring a wrap, ill fill that thang up tight

haha, stoked for this weekend, ill be there sat-wednesday

Purps jacket, pinstripe pants, white a frames with fire iridium lense, wolf anthems and green scott poles

lets ride/blaze

pm a brotha up

You guys are killing me! I was supposed to be up this weekend but my dad (ride) has to go away on some buisness trip. Ain't thata bitch

just got back a little bit ago. and sadly there is not a jump in the park they got set up. yet..

park is setup on rim run a little ways down, and it has, in order:

traffic block bonk

dance floor spine with bar on the top

hip to dance floor landing

small (maybe 10') urban down rail with donkey dick

a small (tiny) up rail (made only for snowboarders because of the lip)

really skate inspired and mainly for snowboarders, but if you want rails, lincoln still has the 4 better features.

i stayed away from the park and found a few really nice stashes in the woods. i would say the pow was over my boots in some areas. my last run still had some freshies as well.

definitely liking the woods here for my first season at the bush

not gonna lie the mt ellen park was kind of a let down but I still had mad fun. took a while to get used to some of those features but the bonk was nice and that little bitch rail ended up being pretty fun.

headed over to lincoln later then they told us we had to leave and they closed the rails. damn.

It was pretty good. The upper mountain was skiing really nicely, I was just lapping mid-stations. Once you get lower down it gets kinda weird crusty though. The more it gets skied the better it'll get though.

you guys should write this stuff on the Sugarbush Parks! page on facebook, because the head of the park crew is the creator so he sees everything and it is more direct feedback.

ill be there with no poles, wearing a red racing speedsuit with my pants pulled up. full tilt boots, goggles sagged so far that they cover my top lip, scott skis cuz theyre the shit now that tom wallisch is sposored by them, skull candy headphones and all the other cool shit. o and ill be afterbanging all over the place

I might be up there the day after christmas and definitely next weekend. I'll let you know. Also, I'm picking up an HV40 this week so that will come in handy.

I heard that the park is supposed to be better after christmas.

It was kind of a let down yesterday. It wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't cold and really windy, though.

yo so fucking windy today. eating lunch right now, and hiking the rails at lincoln is mad fun.

theres also like this 7 foot? tabletop thats made out of dirt for mtn bikers, but its covered in snow and is fun. But literally no one on the down rail setup today, mad fun shit, come and hike with us. Me and my lil bro, im in purple on wolf anthems, hes in black n white

lookin forward to seein some goons
