Style's that are cool now but will look stupid eventualy

When we look at pictures of ourselves in the past we often say "what the hell was I thinking" a prime example: jean sweaters in the 90s. back then they were cool but now....... not so much.

heres my question to newschoolers..... what styles that are big right now will we look back and say wtf! like condom hats. right now I freakin love them they are the shit but, in a few years we will probably find it reatarded. so what styles do you guys think are gona be laughed at.

also feel free to post picks of yourself that relate......... have fun NS..... have fun!
 
hah i know exactly what you are talkin about, one example i can see lookin foolish is the ray bahn/george thorogood style glasses. Everyone has them and some people look like huge idiots. i think they are sick now but in a year or so i'll prob look back on them and be like wtf. as for condom hats,......so good lol but im not sure what i will think about them later in life.

Condom beanies for sure...I rock mine all the time and when im 30 im gonna look at myself in pictures like WTF??
 
I was emo/scene or whatever for 4 years; How many 30 year olds to you see dressed like that? it may not die soon but when everyone is old and looks at pictures of themselves from those days they are gunna be ike what was i thinking
 
those big stupid bright glasses that girls wear, Some guys do to. They wil be out of fashion completly by 2010 hopefully

my thoughts exactly. I think for the first part though, a jean sweater is likely a sweater made of denim. just a guess though.
 
As much as I also hate Ed Hardy/Dom Rebel/Affliction clothing, it's only a trend (not a style), so you can take comfort that it will die soon. Think Von Dutch.

Emo is by far the thing we'll look back on and think WTF were they snorting.
 
Those will probably always be in style. They've been around for so long. Same with tight pants, just look at the rockstars from the 60's and 70's. I would say stuff like flat brim hats will go out of style eventually.
 
the "kanye west glasses". not that they're cool now, but hes gonna look back at himself and realize it looks hideous
 
ive really noticed this with sunglasses. old school ray bans, old school oakelys, look terrible, and hopefully people will look back on them as gay
 
Seeing as they are old school, people have already looked back on them as gay, its just some people think that looks cool to look stupid and from the 80s

Can you imagine wearing an 80s neon ski outfit?Actually thats pretty hood though
 
word, my mum has some dope knitted hats from when she was young.

If you look at fashion you'll realise that it goes in cycles, occasionally a totally different thing will get thrown into the mix but all the basics get recycled, just changed in some little way.

how about every style that has graced the skiing community with its presence over the past few years. Like all those stupid fuckin neon pink and green/yellow hats that everyone buys... if you have one let me inform you of something.... you look like a complete fucking retard. or how about the fact that like fucking 75% of skiers have to grow their hair out so long that they look like a chick, once again let me inform you of something... you look like a complete fucking retard, so get a hair cut, loose your purple one piece suit and buy a new fucking hat because its kids like you that give skiing a shit reputation.
 
have long hair doesnt really make you look like a chick unless its like down to you shoulders o within about an inch of you shoulders.... that is unless you just happen to look like a chick facially and whatnot anyway, in which case, that must suck
